Hurricane Season 2021 is Around The Corner

Hurricane Season 2021 is Around The Corner

Hurricane season is days away! The 2021 Hurricane Season starts on June 1st and ends November 30th. But what does that really mean for you?

Insurance carriers can close down at any minute preventing you from getting insurance coverage before a storm hits.

So if you are preparing to shop your insurance policies, now is the time to take action. When there is a named storm (ex: Tropical Storm Eta or Hurricane Katrina), Insurance companies prevent ANYONE from purchasing insurance coverage in the direct path or surrounding areas of the storm, to prevent thousands of customers from buying the correct coverage they need, when they know a storm is about to hit.

Finding the right insurance quote and coverage takes time.

For many insurance coverages such as homeowners, flood or other property coverage, sometimes it can take up to 30 days.

Did you know that there are 30 day waiting periods for Flood policies? Did you know that certain homeowners carriers require updated inspections and other mitigation reports that can prolong your ability to purchase insurance?

Peace of mind

With less than 30 days until hurricane season and 17 named storms predicted (that is +42% above a normal hurricane season), we believe peace of mind is worth every penny. Knowing that your family and your business is protected in the event of a claim, is worth the extra time you spend preparing NOW, before it's too late.
